Maven Care Guide: How to Wash Your Apparel

Keep your premium Maven activewear looking and performing like new by following these official care and washing instructions. Our high-performance fabrics are engineered with advanced synthetic blends designed to stretch, compress, and wick away moisture. To prolong the lifespan and technical properties of your gear, please follow our guidelines carefully.

1. Washing Instructions

Wash at low temperatures: Always machine wash cold at or below 30°C (86°F). Cold water protects structural fibers and keeps your Maven gear from shrinking or losing its tailored shape.

Wash your clothes inside out: Turn your leggings, sports bras, and tops inside out before putting them in the washing machine. This protects custom Maven logos and prints from friction and ensures a deeper clean where sweat builds up.

Do not use fabric softeners: Softeners leave a thin chemical coating on synthetic fibers that blocks premium moisture-wicking technology and permanently traps stubborn odors.

Wash with similar colors & fabrics: Separate light items from dark colors to completely avoid color bleeding. Avoid mixing activewear with heavy denim or towels to reduce fiber abrasion.

Use a mesh laundry bag: Place delicate Maven items or sports bras with removable pads inside a mesh bag to prevent tangling or snagging on zip closures and hooks.

2. Drying Instructions

Avoid the tumble dryer: Do not tumble dry under any circumstance. High operational heat breaks down elastane and spandex fibers, causing garments to permanently lose their stretch, signature compression, and recovery.

Line dry or flat dry only: Hang your damp clothes or lay them perfectly flat to dry naturally in a well-ventilated indoor or shaded outdoor space, completely away from direct sunlight.

3. Ironing & Additional Care

Do not iron: Premium technical activewear is naturally wrinkle-resistant. If absolutely necessary, use a cool iron setting and always iron the garment completely inside out. Never iron directly over printed Maven logos.

Do not dry clean: Chemical solvents used in dry cleaning processes will degrade the flexible synthetic blends and high-performance fabric coatings.
